During the early part of 2011 all photos from the Parish Walk were republished on another of my websites at isleofman.in, alongside my entire collection of athletics photographs.
It means I don't have to do anything other than upload the photos to the host site at zenfolio.com. You can view them without charge as many times as you like (and add comments if you wish) or download for a small charge (£1 per photo) for personal use (you can then print them at a local store or on your own printer if you wish). You can also order prints and other products from photobox.co.uk
I pay the site hosting fees and all photography costs and, after zenfolio or photobox take their commission, there is about 90p profit from each sale which is donated to charity. Almost £1,500 has been raised so far, about half of which has been from the Manx Telecom Parish Walk.
Of the photos published from the Parish Walk, my brother Mike Lambden has taken an increasing proportion as I have spent more and more of my time publishing the site from the back of the van. I'm also grateful to Karen Kneale who used my camera at the finish in 2012.
My aim is always to start publishing condensed files from Braddan within 30 minutes of the start of the event. Uploads of condensed files then continue for the next 24 hours. Full resolution files will be published during the few days after the walk. Files are available (at the same cost) in both condensed or full resolution versions.
If ordering from photobox, set UK as the country (IOM as a county) for cheaper postage than setting IOM as a country (assuming that you are in the Isle of Man in the first place!).
