Thomas Melvin - 5th (improving by almost two hours)
And almost as big an improvement for 6th placed Jock Waddington.
Sue Biggart - a remarkable average of 16:37:36 in the past four years for women's winner and seventh overall.
Steve Partington's 8th place in the Parish Walk is insignifcant compared to a highly successful international race walking career - but its still an improvement of over four minutes and three positions compared to his debut.
9th placed Terry Moffatt - 17 minute improvement.
Jane Mooney is assisted by husband Adrian on the Sloc. She was second woman to finish in 10th place and made a big improvement on her best time.
